What fun to be pointed to this site! My married name is Bredthauer and I have been living in the Austin, TX area for the past 22 years. I attended grades 6-8 at Campo Alegre - 2 years at the old site and was in the first graduating class at the new school in Las Mercedes. I went to high school for a year in the States and then went back to Caracas to finish at Campo Alegre. So many of the above names are familiar. I have been in touch with Howard DeKalb who lives on the Big Island in Hawaii and with John Soberheim and Rich Teuten and will point them to this site. Howard did his best to teach us Math in high school. I lived in Caracas from 1946-54. Another person I have been in touch with all the years since we lived in Venezuela is Davis Goodale. He was there in the summers and attended San Marcos Bapist Academy in TX and later Texas A&M. Would love tp catch up on all the news.
